Part A

Hospital Care

Section A provides coverage for 80% of the expenses associated with inpatient care and hospital stays. Upon fulfilling the eligibility criteria, beneficiaries can anticipate the automatic activation of their coverage. A Medicare card, confirming the individual's status, will be dispatched via mail.

Part C

Advantage and Supplement

Medicare Part C plans offer comprehensive coverage, combining the essential benefits of Parts A and B with additional features such as dental, vision, hearing, and prescription drug coverage. Some plans may assist in covering the 20% copayment associated with Parts A and B. The two main categories of Part C plans are Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement, differing in terms of affordability and the flexibility to consult doctors outside the network.

Part B

Medical Care

Part B encompasses 80% of the expenditures related to physician consultations and outpatient services. In order to access this coverage, a monthly fee of $148.50 is applicable, and verification can be conducted through examination of your Medicare card. Neglecting to secure this coverage may result in potential penalties.

Part D

Prescription Drug Coverage

Obtaining Medicare drug coverage involves acquiring a standalone prescription drug plan from a Medicare-approved private insurance company. Costs and covered medications vary among plans, and failure to enroll can lead to lifelong penalties. Deadlines, often set three months after one's 65th birthday, are critical. Missing the deadline may incur a 1% monthly penalty for each month without enrollment in a Part D plan
